Mint Tea

Portuguese vibes IV.

Our stop on the way to Porto: Costa Nova, a fishing village with a long tradition of stripped houses, where fishers used to dry their nets. Unfortunately, we didn´t really have a nice weather, so the vividness of colours is a bit grey.

After three hours in a car, we managed to arrived in Porto but spent a whole eternity by looking for a place to park. Everything was paid... at the end (after three circles around Porto :D), we parked exactly where I planned, however on the other side, so it took us another half an hour to find our way out of the parking garage and find a place to by a tickets for Hop On Hop Off bus, which we will never do again. Never. It cost 15 eur per person and they have old plans, so we were waiting at the wrong bus stop. Luckily, the driver slowed down and let us in, giving us a new, more detailed plan. This was old too... so we "hopped off" in the center after one stop and never "hopped on" again, since according to the plan bus driver gave us, two stop were supposed to be located in a pedestrian precinct. WooHoo... Be looking for another stop, we missed the last bus and had to walk by feet back to our car.

Bye bye Porto, hopefully, we will never have to use your sigh-seeing buses again...
