Back in summer 2018 I somehow managed to travel a lot. I travelled to Portugal with my crew of friends, to Tuscany with my family later in August and the mids of summer we have spent at Mallorca. My mum felt kind of sorry for my sister since she could not visit her father, so she organized a trip with Pali and his son to keep us entertained.

My beloved cousine, my best friend, got married back in April :) but just yesterday she has sent me photographies I would love to show you. Neither of them was taken by me, all rights reserved to Marie Valach alias Althea.

I used to spend few days inbetween the Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with my dad's family almost every year. Exactly as this year. However it was kinda special, because I could be with my sister Michell after a half year, since she has been studying in France.. :) And to my huge delight, it had snowed <3.

As soon as the November had begun, the weather got a little worse. No more blue skylines, just constant greyness. Everything became less colorfull even tho the trees were still yellow and orange. So at least my sock and the wooden floor brought a little life to this faded world.

Anual trip to High Tatras with my mum, her partner and my godparents. This year we had done this crazy hike. Exactly 18 kilometres! 8 hours of walking, divageting thoughout the mist, seeing nothing at all. Until the very end... It was epic. Definitely worth the pain in my knees I can still feel even now.

Next travel destination was well-known-ish Veneto region in northern Italy where I had been living eight years ago and hadn't like it a bit. Now I am kinda changing my attitude... I love Verona and romantic towns eastern coast of Lake Garda.

My summer started with the trip to colder Dublin. On the first day it was raining cats and dogs, so I was afraid my camera would get wet so I didn't take any picture, but somehow I enjoyed it anyway. This one is from Malahide castle we visited next day. I love it. It breathes with history and greenery.

I have to admit... even though this year seemed to be directed by George R.R. Martin, ´cause so many famous people died, I can´t be so negative about it. I accomplished what I wanted - I became Bc. and I found a group of amazing people who seem to like me as well. It is the first time after unbelievably long when I feel like I trully belong somewhere. It is not this hopeless effort to find common stuff with random people who might not even know each other or they do, but don´t like each other anymore... It was exhausting. I always felt like it was heading nowhere at all. This year, however, I found what I´ve been looking for way too long.

Day 205: Go hiking.

Not many people in my life know, that I really love hiking. It´s something I probably inherited from my parents for sure. They used to hike a lot and when I was little, my daddy taught me to love it. He used to take me with his friends to various trips, where we had been sleeping under the stars and carrying just one backpack on the shoulders.
